TJ Lang wants to punch his “fans”

The other day, Packers offensive lineman got into a Twitter argument with a fellow NFL “fan”. Although they clearly weren’t a fan of Lang’s. The twitter posts have since been deleted but the fan made a comment to TJ Lang after one of the playoff games suggesting how good a team can be with a good offensive line. TJ Lang shot back telling them to cheer for them and calling the fan a “loser”. He then followed up that tweet with the following:

Hard to believe you don’t see more professional athletes lash out at fans with all the constant criticism that they take. I’m sure they’re likely told by their respective teams to control that type of behaviour but I can totally understand Lang’s response. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one and people love to share them. You see people tweeting negative comments all the time to professional athletes and they should be able to take if it they’re willing to dish it.

This isn’t the first time Lang stirred up some controversy. Back when the replacement refs stole that game from the Packers and gave it to the Seahawks, he tweeted the following:

Surprisingly I didn’t hear about any discipline from the league. I think they knew they’d screwed that one up and didn’t want to bring any extra attention to it. It’s kind of refreshing to see a player say what they feel instead of giving the usual politically correct answers we’re used to.
